Cleansing Charms and Probiotics

I've been thinking about the pre- and post-sex fanon Cleansing Charm, and what a number that must do on characters' colons. Really, people, intestinal bacteria is nothing to go germicidal on. Draco must have IBS like no one's business! Similarly, if I were to read het, I'm sure I'd be wondering about the cleaning of the semen out of the vagina, and how poor Ginny and Hermione are constantly wrought with yeast infections.

In conclusion, a little poop never hurt anyone.

...I need to get some sleep.

I loathe the whole cleaning charm thing. Talk about pointing out the elephant in the room. :P

Tee hee. Was going to make a joke about a big brown elephant, but whoops I did it, anyway.

I don't mind the charms in and of themselves -- context is certainly relevant! But if the scene is meant to be sexy, then, yeah, poop banishment is not usually something I'm trying to think about at that moment. ;)

I think it's one thing when people assume it happens occasionally. "Oh rimming, only happens once or twice a month, a flush out/magical enema isn't a big deal."

Which may be realistic, but reality doesn't have the same fuck-like-bunnies sexlife as H&D seem to. >.> *cough*

And no one's complaining about enabling them to fuck like bunnies! :D

I've always imagined it as more of an external thing.

Editing to clarify that I meant cleansing of the post-sex variety.

That makes sense, and would certainly not have an effect on the intestinal bacteria. I'm really jesting. Just musing about the ramifications of all that over-cleanliness. ;)

AHAHAHAHA. This never occurred to me but it's SO. TRUE.

I had never thought of this. Seriously.

hmmm. Okay, maybe once or twice.

But I'm with Jae, I always thought of it as an external thing, never something as invasive as a... LOL magical enema? God.
